High Wildfire Danger

HIGH Wildfire Danger Level
  • Recreational fires allowed with extreme caution but may be revoked based on conditions.
  • Significant fire safety precautions are necessary. All other open burning requires a written Texas A&M Forest Service and/or local fire district special open burn permit to be in possession at time of the fire.
  • Agricultural burning is approved on agricultural burning days with PERMIT but may be revoked based on conditions. Check with local fire district.
